Unprecedented Territory
What a year 2024 has been! The Holy Spirit has sparked kingdom unity, collaboration, and fruitful service through ChinaSource on a scale we have never seen before. I recently asked our founder, Dr. Brent Fulton, if he had ever seen the likes of what we are seeing now: the favor and expanding nature of kingdom collaboration and partnerships, especially with Chinese-led ministries representing such a wide variety of the church in the mainland and diaspora. Brent replied that he has never seen anything like this; that we are “in unprecedented territory.” We give all glory to God that so many new, next-generation, and established Chinese-led organizations and ministries are inviting ChinaSource to learn and partner with them, welcoming us to be a platform from which they choose to tell their story to the English-speaking church around the world.
How grateful we are to say that we are seeing Jesus build and unify his church, like we’ve never experienced before, at a time when there is so much disunity and discord. We are also thankful for you, our dear friends: readers, ministry project partners, content contributors, intercessors, financial supporters, volunteers who have offered your expertise in a variety of fields for Christ’s glory. Thank you for helping to make 2024 a year to remember—of eternal, fruit-bearing unity and service together in Christ.
More to Come in 2025
As we look forward to 2025, the Lord has made the way clear to us. By his grace and with your support and help, in the new year ChinaSource will:
- Continue to emphasize worship and prayer as central to oneness in Christ, providing opportunities to pray for, and with, the church in China and the diaspora.
- Build partnership bridges and raise up next-generation leadership in the mainland and the Chinese diaspora, helping believers from China integrate into the global church.
- As China’s own emerging mission-sending movement requires new thinking about mission strategy, ChinaSource will help facilitate discussion on how a new generation of missional Chinese leaders can collaborate with their counterparts from other nations.
- Provide spiritual formation, member care growth, and resources for mainland ministry teams.
- Expand the ChinaSource audience across multiple media channels, aligning hearts of missional Christ followers around the world with God’s heart for China; introducing and equipping the next generation for service alongside the Chinese church. A Gift Like Never Before?
Just as in 2024 our Lord has accomplished things we have never seen before, would you prayerfully consider a year-end gift that is larger than you have ever given before, to help us respond to the kingdom opportunities God has prepared for us in 2025? And would you please pray with us that the ChinaSource board of directors, staff, and global team of volunteers will faithfully follow our Triune God of Grace in oneness, courage, and faith throughout the year ahead?

Ways to Pray
From the Upcoming 2024 Winter Issue of ChinaSource Quarterly
- Lift up returnees that they will be prepared well to return and that the churches in China prepare well to receive them.
- May God also raise up teams of people around the world today to serve closely together in order to prepare and equip those returning to China.
Praise and Thanksgiving
- All praise to our Heavenly Father that the light of Christ has come and that “Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn” Isaiah 60: 3 (NIV).
- Rejoice and praise the Lord with us that Immanuel is building and unifying his church in previously unseen ways, which include the global church learning from the church in China and the diaspora, and being further rooted and grounded in Christ.
- We thank God that the global church is hearing and learning from the next generation of Chinese church leaders, resulting in collaboration and service together.
Pray
- Please pray with us that in 2025 God will do immeasurably more than we will even know to ask for or imagine through his Holy Spirit within us, for his glory in the church and his son Jesus, across the generations. (Ephesians 3: 20)
- In 2025, please pray that God will expand the ChinaSource audience across multiple media channels, aligning the hearts of missional Christ followers around the world with God’s heart for the Chinese people.
