Eva-Maria Hanke-Estevez

Eva-Maria Hanke-Estevez studied Protestant theology and history at Heidelberg University. A certified secondary school teacher in Germany (for Gymnasium), Eva is in the final year of her doctoral studies in intercultural theology and the study of religion at Heidelberg University. Her research focuses on contemporary Christianity in the People’s Republic of China, with an emphasis on the Sinicization (中國化) of Protestant Christianity. She was a visiting scholar at the Institute of Sino-Christian Studies (ISCS) in Hong Kong from 2023 to 2024.
